Firstdown Football Youth Flag Football is the premier youth flag football league in Philadelphia for boys and girls ages 5-15. The program provides young players with a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning teamwork and sportsmanship. The League is sponsored by the National Football League and it's Youth Football Programs.

The 2010 season will begin June 5th!
There are no residency requirements and players from all over the area can play. The $40 registration fee includes a Jersey, flag belt, and mouthpiece. Games are held Saturday mornings and the games run August to September  The season is approximately 5 weeks long, The 2010 season will begin August 5th, please check back soon for schedules.

Indiviual registrations will be assigned randomly to a team, but within their grade bracket.

Grade brackets are:

 

Rookie Division:             Grades Kindergarten & 1st Grade

 

 

Semi-Pro Division:           Grades 2nd & 3rd

 

All-Pro Division:               Grades 4th & 5th & 6th

Hall OF Fame Division:   Grades 7th & 8th

This is a working football camp where a great deal of emphasis will be put on improving your fundamental football skills. A non-contact camp that is designed to work on skill development and football fundamentals for both offensive and defensive positions, this is a one week camp locate in the newly refurbished Benjamin L. Johnston Memorial Stadium Athletic Super Site. All instruction takes place on well-groomed fields, while each athlete is exposed to experienced coaching from college and high school level coaches and their staff. They want every athlete to improve! All campers will have the opportunity to train each day, work hard, improve, make new friends, and have fun. Each athlete is encouraged to develop new skills and achieve a new level of play and self-confidence. Campers cover all aspects of offense, defense and special teams to help develop their skills and enhance their interest in the game of football. There are no arts or crafts here, just a total emphasis on football and fun activities.

You can give permissions to add News stories to as many coaches, managers or club officers in the club as you want - this makes sure there is always something new for visitors to read. You can also go back into to a News item using the 'Edit this post' button, and change the story if necessary.

So, now it's time for you to create your first News item! Click on 'Delete this Post' to remove this introduction, then 'Create New Article' and starting making news!
